Alternative Summer Break

Alternative Summer Break (ASuB) is a 2.5-week service trip in which participants travel to Kenya to support Living Positive Kenya, a local organization in Ngong Hills.

This trip focuses on several social issues like education, health, and HIV/AIDs. Learn to become a citizen of the world through strong direct service and reflection, and connect with other students who are looking to make a difference.

Students who are selected to serve on the trip participate in pre-trip meetings throughout academic year to help educate themselves on the language and culture of the community they will be serving.

This is a popular experience with limited space. Students can only participate once as a participant and possibly once as a trip leader.
